Titusville Police Officers found a cell phone left behind during an armed home invasion over the weekend, which led Detectives to the arrest of two suspects.
Shortly after Midnight on Sunday, August 12th 2018, Titusville Police received a call for service in reference to an armed home invasion robbery on Prairie Lane. Both victims were battered and the suspects stole property and cash.
The preliminary investigation has revealed the one of the suspects inadvertently dropped his cell phone, which was recovered as crime scene evidence by Titusville Police.
Detectives quickly used the evidentiary information from the dropped phone, located the suspects, and made two arrests.
The victims of the armed home invasion sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Robinson and Cook were booked into the Brevard County Jail and are currently being held without bond.
