Three people were pronounced deceased at the scene, and three others were seriously injured in a violent head-on crash Monday night.
At approximately 10:30 PM on Monday, November 5th 2018, Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving two vehicles.
The preliminary investigation reveals that a 1986 Oldsmobile was traveling southbound on South Park Avenue at Bell Terrace. Witnesses described it traveling at a high rate of speed as it crossed the centerline and struck a Ford Explorer that was traveling Northbound on South Park Avenue.
Two of the three occupants of the Oldsmobile were ejected. William Levarn Davis, 50, of Titusville, Zyphria Derick Watts, 44, of Titusville and Calvin Williams, 41, of Titusville, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver and occupants of the Ford Explorer, Miriam Bittner, 30, of Titusville, Lynne Wells, 38, of Titusville and Amanda Walkington, 30, of Merritt Island, respectively, were hospitalized with serious injuries.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by traffic crash investigators.
