On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), I invite you to attend a public meeting to talk about a proposed multi-use trail that is part of the existing Coast to Coast trail and is intended to enhance pedestrian and bicyclist safety in the area, as well as complete the Titusville Gap. Additional roadway modifications and a median will be added on SR 406 to provide a refuge area for pedestrians at the proposed crosswalk. The purpose of this public meeting is to present and explain the proposed improvement, seek public and agencies’ input, and provide interested persons an opportunity to provide feedback and comments to the design team.
The public meeting will be Monday, December 17, 2018 at Titusville City Hall in the Council Chambers at 555 South Washington St., Titusville, Florida 32796. The meeting will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. The meeting will be conducted as an open house during which time displays and other project information will be available for review. Staff will also be available to discuss the project. An informational looping presentation will also be given playing throughout the open house. Participants may provide public comments at any time during the meeting. Written comments may also be submitted at this meeting. If submitted by mail, please send your comments no later than December 31, 2018 to Jason McCray, PE, England-Thims & Miller, Inc., 1540 International Parkway, Suite 2000, Lake Mary, FL, 32764.
